I especially appreciate the 10 Commandments based examination of conscience and the ability to add custom questions.

I use it every time I go to confession. Very helpful to remember any sins committed and what to say step by step during confession. Love it.

The Confession App is an excellent tool for those like me who are coming back to the sacrament after long time. It challenges the user to examine his or her behavior through the lens of several prompts framed under each of the commandments which can be done multiple times before each visit to the confessional. Once you finally make it there, this tallying of sins is particularly useful so that you can accurately report both the offense and the number of times committed. Also included are multiple versions of the Act of Contrition and a general "walk-through" of how to properly preparebfor the sacrament. I recommend this for anyone who is returning to confession after a long absence!

This is one of the only apps that I have ever downloaded that wasnt free. Like others have reported, this app makes the examination of conscience easy and for those who have not been to confession in a long time, the app makes the process much easier. I had been telling myself that I needed to get back in the habit of confession but I couldnt make myself go. Once I had the app, and I worked through the preparation, it gave me the courage to go and get that first one taken care of. I now plan to keep up using the app and confess on a regular basis.

I love this app and its very helpful, but can we add a category for Priest who are married?

As someone who has my iPhone with me constantly, I find this app very helpful to keep track of my "pet" venial sins. I especially like the customization features and have recommended its use to several people, adults and children. I also really like the reminder feature, but I wish I could change the reminder or set an additional one when wanted.

I really like this app for contemplating before the sacrament. The app crashed on my phone last time. I hope it was updated since then. :-) The only thing I suggest is that the users are shared (so I can use my iPhone or one of my iPads).

Very useful tool. Great reminders.

A very nice app, but classifies sins by commandment, which makes some sins difficult to find, as it is not intuitive which commandment under which some sins are categorized. If you already recognize the sin before going to confession, and do before examination of conscience, its very difficult to find and record it for remembering at confession.

Outstanding, helps me with to get acquainted with our Lord Jesus Christ thru the sacrament of reconciliation. A very helpful aid in preparing for Confession. Thank you and God Bless!
