Confession: A Roman Catholic App app for iPhone and iPad
Designed to be used in the confessional, this app is the perfect aid for every penitent. With a personalized examination of conscience for each user, password protected profiles, and a step-by-step guide to the sacrament, this app invites Catholics to prayerfully prepare for and participate in the Rite of Penance. Individuals who have been away from the sacrament for some time will find Confession: A Roman Catholic App to be a useful and inviting tool.
The text of this app was developed in collaboration with Rev. Thomas G. Weinandy, OFM, Executive Director of the Secretariat for Doctrine and Pastoral Practices of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, and Rev. Daniel Scheidt, pastor of Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Mishawaka, IN. The app received an imprimatur from Bishop Kevin C. Rhodes of the Diocese of Fort Wayne – South Bend. It is the first known imprimatur to be given for an iPhone/iPad app.

This is a very helpful app. It is streamlined and easy to use. I am glad that I purchased it; it was well worth the price.
It would be nice if the app kept a log of previous confessions and what sins you need to work on.
A very profound app. I was feeling in need of purification and self examination. While it does not replace a real confession, it offers a strong alternative and a source of preparation. Well worth price. I have felt better all day!
Very helpful in making my examination of conscience. The Sacrament of Reconciliation is such a blessing; it provides peace of mind and the grace to become a more loving person. I hope this helps many people on their journey to true intimacy with God.
Really good app that will hopefully encourage more Catholics to start going to confession again. Obviously most people arent aware that receiving communion in a state of mortal sin, is itself a grave sin!

I loved and used this App, but now it doesnt work, the support doesnt answer and an update is missed!
What app is next catholic church? Alterboy finder or how about Pedo-pretector. Religion is destroying our planet. Its time to become accountable for your actions rather than relying on a confession and walking away feeling good about yourself.
There is no god, so just relax and start enjoying your life.
Thought the app gives you prayers etc for your sins. It does not. Infant except for having a check list of a few sins it gives no resolve like the description of the app suggested. I want my 2$ back. Buyer beware.
We are a bit disappointed: we thought the app would replace a priest and we would not need to go to church. Where does the money we give for the app goes? We hope to a charity.
